Alex Woolmington

I have been coaching for over 14 years; my role here at Avenue Tennis is to develop and deliver the coaching programme. Being born and bred in Medway, I was naturally attracted to the role. I have played tennis in Medway since 2000 and never has there been a better facility or opportunity for anyone to be able to play tennis.

- Fully Licenced and Accredited coach
- LTA Level 4
- PTR Professional
- Sports Science degree

With years of experience, I hope to be able to pass on my knowledge to members of Avenue Tennis and create the best environment for people to start, continue and excel in tennis. I have been lucky enough to travel around the world with tennis, coaching and competing. I was awarded bronze for coach of the year in the Medway sports awards in December 2018 alongside many extremely talented coaches who have taken athletes to the Olympics in various sports. I was a part of a successful application for the Club of the Year award, where Avenue Tennis was runner-up nationally. I have had a career-high of 300 in the country and 12 in Kent. I have coached players of all levels and abilities and helped players perform for their county, nationally and internationally.
